Board, Committes, and Volunteers

The Preserve at Pecan Creek Homeowners Association is currently under Developer control. Once this status changes, the names of the Board members will be posted here. If you have any questions, please contact our Community Manager at Lone Star Association Management at 469-384-2088 ext 129.
Social Committee - Coordinates and organizes activities and efforts that build neighborhood relationships, unity, and participation. Solicit materials, coupons, certificates, etc. from local businesses for social events. Communicate with the Newsletter Committee to disseminate information in upcoming newsletters. Currently meets the 2d Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Amenity Center. Current members are Debby Whitworth, Dana Erwin, Liesel Herrera, Brandy Hulsey, Larry and Jeannie Parchman.
Newsletter Committee - Responsible for putting the HOA newsletter together. Coordinate with block captains and other committee chairs regarding information that needs to be disseminated. Coordinate directory information, compile and submit to Lone Star Association Management for approval and publication. Seeking new volunteers.
Landscape Committee - Current members are Justin Turner. Implements the Yard of the Month program, implement various block events (i.e. holiday decorating contests). Advise Lone Star Association Management of any HOA compliance concerns.
Pool Committee - Current members are IV Summerfield and Brian Kooiman. Assist with monitoring of pool rules, works with Lone Star Association Management to schedule pool parties/activities. Communicate and work with the Advisory Committee and Lone Star to provide timely and effective notice to homeowners on information regarding the pool amenity.
Crime Watch / Block Captains - Current members are Karla Johnson. Serve as the neighborhood representatives for the homes in your immediate area, (i.e. your street or cul-de-sac). Work with the neighbors in immediate area and disseminate information about current crime watch / safety trends and report any matters to the HOA / Local Authorities. Organize the annual "National Night Out" event and other crime watch events. Assist the HOA in its efforts to communicate information to all homeowners. This committee is in need of volunteers.
Advisory Committee - The Advisory Committee's goal is to prepare homeowners for the future transition of the HOA from Developer control to HOA Member control. Our currrent Advisory Committee consists of Ron Johnson, Debby Whitworth, IV Summerfield, Justin Turner, and Karla Johnson.
