T-Shirt Promotes Safety in the Preserve
The Preserve at Pecan Creek SAFETY 27 M.P.H. T-Shirt is available for just $15.
Homeowners that hike and bike on The Preserve at Pecan Creek HOA trails introduced bright school bus yellow safety shirts at our most recent HOA meeting on September 28th, 2011. Preserve SAFETY 27 M.P.H. is on both the front and the back of these shirts. The idea is for hikers and bikers to wear these shirts on the trails to help to remind everyone who drives in The Preserve at Pecan Creek to cautiously watch their speed to prevent automobile accidents in our community and help reduce the possibility of someone getting hit while using the hike and bike trails. If drivers are not aware of the speed limits in The Preserve at Pecan Creek it is extremely easy to drive 40 M.P.H. or faster on Lakeview Blvd. where the speed limit is only 30 M.P.H. and is actually only 20 M.P.H. in front of the Elementary school and the playground near the Amenity Center and pool. The shirts were also made available at the event at the Amenity Center during The National Night Out gathering on October 4th, 2011 and they received a lot of interest and positive response. Arrangements have been made through a local retailer to offer these shirts at a discounted price of only $15.00 through the remainder of this year. All proceeds from the sales of the shirts will be put back in to purchasing more shirts as needed for the community. Everyone’s support is greatly appreciated as we work together to ensure a safe community for our children and neighbors of all ages. Please contact Preserve at Pecan Creek HOA resident Doug Gray at 214-236-2628 to order these safety shirts.
Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless."
